How
to Order
Finding items
The main way is to use the menu options at the top of the screen to select
sweets by type. There are a number of different menu options to find the
sweet, including By Flavour. You can also type its name into the search
box (found in the top left of every page of our site) this will return
any sweet containing the word(s) you enter.
To find out more about a product, click on the initial image of the product.
You'll then be taken to that product's page, which shows you image(s)
of the item, more information about the item, including a 'Buy' button
to add the item to your Basket, and sometimes links to other related sweets.
Adding items to your Basket
When you click on 'Buy', the item is added to your Basket (on the right-hand
side of the screen). This is a place to store anything you intend to buy.
You can of course remove items from your Basket if you change your mind.
When you've finished shopping, click 'View Basket' (on the right-hand
side of the screen). Here you will see a summary of everything in your
Basket. You can change the quantity of any item by entering the new quantity
and clicking on 'Update' (to remove an item, change the quantity to zero).
Always remember to click 'Update' after changing a quantity. Note that
there are a number of offers when you buy two or more, or three or more
bags or jars of sweets.
When you're ready to buy, click 'Proceed to checkout' to begin filling
out the order form.
Completing the order form
On the first page, fill out your name, email and address details. You only need to fill in your house number and postcode; to save you time we complete the rest of your address from these details (you have the opportunity to check and amend them on the next page).
Check the 'Remember Me' box to save you having to enter these details when you return to our site. (This service relies on a cookie being placed on your computer; if you clear your cookies, then you will have to re-enter your address details next time you order.)
When you're ready, click 'Continue'.
On the second page of the checkout, check that the address details shown are correct. The 'Contact' address must be the same as the address the credit card bill is sent to. If you require the goods to be sent to an alternative delivery address, or if there is an error in the 'Contact' address, click the appropriate 'I want to change the address listed' button, fill out the form, and click submit. Click continue when you are happy with the order details shown.
The next page of the checkout is where you fill in your payment information. We accept the following credit cards:

Fill out your payment details and click 'Process Order' to complete your order.
You are given an order summary showing your order number. Please make a note of this in case you need to refer to it at a later date.
Once your payment has been processed you will be sent an email acknowledging receipt of your order.
Standard Service - normally delivered within 2-3 working days. We aim to despatch all items the next day, but please allow up to a week for delivery. (All items are subject to availability, and we will inform you immediately if anything is out of stock.) The cost of our Standard next-day despatch service depends on the combined weight of your order:
- Currently we only post to UK mainland (England, Wales & Southern Scotland) for a flat £3.99 charge.
- We currently only accept orders for delivery in the UK & Southern Ireland.

Guarantee & Returns Policy
If for any reason you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we give an unconditional guarantee that we will exchange goods or refund your money at any time. This is in addition to your statutory rights.

Security & Privacy
Website security
To ensure the security of your transaction, we use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. This means that on any page where you enter personal information such as credit card details, the information sent to us is encrypted to safeguard your details. (Encryption prevents other internet users from accessing this information.) We only accept orders that are placed using this technology.
You can check that you are shopping in a secure environment by looking for either a locked padlock icon (Internet Explorer) or an image of a key (Netscape) in the grey bar at the bottom of your screen. (This will only appear on pages where you enter personal information, such as credit card details.)
Cookies
The Nostalgic Sweets website uses cookies to allow customers to add items to the shopping basket, to remember what items have been looked at recently and to facilitate the 'Remember Me' function (saving customers having to enter their name and address when they return to the site).
Cookies are small text files stored on your computer at the request of a website. Cookies are not computer programs, cannot access information saved on your hard-drive, and cannot spread viruses or send your email address to third-parties. In fact, they only store information given by the user to the website (but they do not contain critical details such as credit card information).

Nothing in this agreement is intended to limit any rights you may have as a consumer under any applicable law that may not be legally excluded.
You are legally capable of entering into binding contracts;
You confirm you are over 18 years of age.
This agreement is between you and us and not any third party, and this agreement is not intended to confer any rights of any nature upon any party other than you and us and our legal associates.
No terms agreed between us will be varied unless such a variation has been agreed by us in writing.
These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and us relating to the subject matter herein. In particular you should note that nothing said by any employee in relation to the site, by phone, email or in writing should be taken as a variation of these terms and conditions, or as a representation about the products being sold by us and we shall have no liability to you or any other person for any such representation being untrue.
We have no responsibility to supply to you any goods or services as may be advertised by us for sale or supply. When you place the order for goods or services, you are making a legal offer to us, which we may or may not decide to accept.
No contract will subsist between you and us for the sale by us to you of any product unless and until you have received confirmation of your order either verbally, in writing or in the form of an e-mail confirming details of your order. There will then be a legally binding contract between us.
All orders are subject to availability, and we reserve the right to decline to supply any individual or company.
All payments made must be in currency offered.
We reserve the right to change prices listed without notice.
The price shown for each product is the price you pay, subject to payment of any applicable postage costs.
Please note that orders for multiple products may be sent under separate cover and dispatched using different methods of carriage from multiple locations. Please allow up to a week for receipt of your full order.
In the unlikely event that a product becomes temporarily out of stock we will contact you by e-mail, by post or by telephone with an estimated despatch date and offer you the option of cancelling the order.

Returns
You may return such goods as are supplied by us to you provided:
- you return the goods to us within 7 days of receipt by you.
- the goods are returned in their original packaging.
- the goods are returned at your expense to the return address specified on the confirmation of order that accompanied the goods.
- the goods are in no worse a condition than when they were supplied to you by us.
- the goods are not of a type specified, or are supplied in circumstances as being, "non-returnable".
If these conditions are met we will refund you the amount you originally paid for the goods, normally within 7 working days from the date we receive the goods back from you, and at most within 30 working days.
Cancellations
To cancel your order you must notify us by e-mailing us at customerservices@nostalgic-sweets.co.uk or by calling customer services or by writing to the address you posted your order to. If your order has not picked you will be refunded your full costs, else any costs incurred, such as carriage, you will be refunded your purchase price less such costs.

The web site, printed material and all perceptible components hereof, including without limitation design, text, graphics, the selection and arrangement thereof, and all software compilations, underlying source code, software (including applets) are protected by copyright and belong to Nostalgic Sweets Limited and its affiliates and suppliers, or their content and technology providers. ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. You may only use the web site, or printed material, and their contents in accordance with these terms and conditions.
All names, logos, trademarks and titles used on the web site, or any printed material, are trademarks or trade names of their respective holders.
